The Tarheel Junior Golf Tour (TJGT) returned to the Donald Ross–designed Highland Country Club for the 3rd TJGT Fayetteville Junior, held November 1–2, 2025. The event brought together many of the region’s most promising junior golfers for two days of competitive play on one of North Carolina’s classic layouts.

Local favorite Nate Horne of Fayetteville, NC, delivered an impressive performance in the High School Division, firing rounds of 71-70 to finish at 3-under-par (141) and secure a five-shot victory. Horne’s steady play and command of the course stood out in challenging conditions, marking one of the most dominant wins of the fall season.

In the Middle School Division, Simon Hall of Cary, NC, continued his strong play on the TJGT circuit, holding off a late charge from the field with rounds of 72-79 to win by a single shot. His consistency and composure down the stretch earned him another well-deserved title.

Parker Cryan of Pinehurst, NC, claimed the Future Stars Division with back-to-back rounds of 78-78, finishing two shots clear of the field. Cryan’s steady ball striking and short-game touch carried him to victory among a talented group of emerging young players.

The TJGT extends its sincere appreciation to Highland Country Club Director of Golf Micah Vugrinec, Course Superintendent Chris Hobbs, and the entire club staff and membership for their warm hospitality and continued support of junior golf. Their efforts ensured a first-class experience for all players and families.
