Rich, Baird, Anderson, and Buenteo Shine as Champions at the 2026 DGT Dallas Junior Open

The Drip Golf Tour hosted the DGT Dallas Junior Open on February 21–22, 2026, at Cowboys Golf Club, where a strong field of junior golfers from across the country competed over 36 holes in four divisions. Cool and breezy conditions and a championship setup provided a fair but demanding test, rewarding consistency, smart course management, and confident putting.

Davis Rich of Mena, Arkansas, captured the High School Boys’ division title with steady rounds of 72 and 73 to finish at one-over par (145), securing a three-shot victory. Rich maintained control throughout the final round and held off Bennett Underwood of Austin, Texas, and Wheeler White of Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, who shared runner-up honors.

In the Female Elite division, Alice Baird of Bogata, Texas, produced one of the standout performances of the championship. After opening with a 79, Baird surged into contention with a two-under-par 70 in the final round — the only under-par round recorded in the division. She finished at five-over par to win by four shots over Addison Do of Cypress, Texas.

The Middle School Boys’ division featured a competitive leaderboard, with Asher Anderson of Austin, Texas, emerging victorious after posting rounds of 73 and 71 to finish even par (144). Anderson’s consistent play and strong finish earned him a two-shot win over Owen Kivett of Davidson, North Carolina.

Tristan Buenteo of Celina, Texas, delivered the most dominant performance of the weekend in the Future Stars division. Following an opening round of 70, Buenteo fired a remarkable nine-under-par 63 in the final round, the lowest round recorded across all divisions, to secure a nine-shot victory over Cameron Sacramento of Crown Point, Indiana.

Cowboys Golf Club provided an outstanding championship venue, challenging players with strategic bunkering, precise approach shots, and fast, undulating greens.
